Ruairi Molloy
Director - Principal
Originally from Ireland, Ruairi moved to Australia in 2006 after completing a Master's degree specialising in Advanced Digital Design Systems. With more than 25 years of experience across Ireland, the UK and Australia, he has built a career delivering architectural projects ranging from bespoke residential homes to large-scale commercial, health, education and mixed-use developments.
As Director of Trinity+One, Ruairi combines creative design thinking with a strong technical background, leading projects from feasibility and planning through to construction documentation and contract administration. His experience on construction sites, together with extensive documentation expertise, enables him to develop practical, buildable solutions that balance design quality with efficient project delivery.
Ruairi has worked with many of Australia's leading architectural practices, contributed to significant national and international projects, and has also delivered workshops and acted as a guest critic at leading universities in London, specialising in advanced digital design and parametric modelling.
His approach is founded on collaboration, clear communication and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every project is delivered with a focus on quality, innovation and long-term value.
Paul Mikatoa

Rocky Paul Mikatoa is a highly experienced registered architect with more than 20 years of post-qualification experience across education, community, civic, hospitality, residential, religious and commercial projects throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. His career spans design leadership, project management, contract administration, mentoring and BIM implementation across a diverse range of complex projects and multidisciplinary environments.
Paul has worked across all stages of project delivery, from feasibility and master planning through to documentation and construction administration, with particular strength in translating complex design ideas into practical, buildable outcomes. His extensive experience includes major education and public sector projects, including work delivered for the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), alongside large-scale residential, mixed-use and community developments.
Throughout his career, Paul has contributed to award-winning and internationally recognised projects, with experience gained through leading practices including Gregory Burgess Architects, Lyons Architecture, Arch10, Trinity+One, FloDesign and Design Core Architects.
Paul has extensive experience in master planning and feasibility studies across education, mixed-use, residential, civic and commercial developments. His approach combines strategic thinking, design vision and practical delivery knowledge to assess project potential, site opportunities and long-term development outcomes. Working closely with clients, consultants and stakeholders, he is skilled in balancing planning controls, financial viability, functionality and community outcomes to create clear and achievable development strategies. His experience ranges from early-stage site investigations and concept planning through to large-scale urban, educational and mixed-use master planning projects.
